OUR MISSION - Redefining the Industry

Melissa Butterworth

Melissa Butterworth is the Co-Founder, Managing Director and President of Advanced Strategic Partners. Ms. Butterworth has 26 years of experience specific to the laboratory industry. The last eleven years have been spent in the Merger and Acquisition sector having completed over $1.2B in clinical, anatomical, molecular and hospital outreach laboratory transactions during her career. In addition to her M & A expertise, she has spent the last decade advising Molecular laboratories on new business development initiatives. Included in these initiatives, Melissa served as the worldwide Sales & Marketing VP for PhenoPath Laboratory overseeing both their clinical laboratory and the CRO Division. All of the Advanced Strategic Partners Executives came from the lab industry or have 10 years experience in the laboratory industry which differentiates their team from anyone else in the M&A lab market.

Melissa Butterworth is also the author of “The End Game”  A laboratory Owners Guide to Maximizing Valuation. She graduated with honors from the University of North Florida with dual degrees in Marketing and Management.

Dan Lucky

Dan Lucky is the Co-Founder, and Director of Advanced Strategic Partners.  Mr. Lucky has 50 years of experience in Corporate Relationship Management, Information Technology, and Commercial Business Transactions.  The last eleven years have been spent in the Merger and Acquisition activity specific to the Laboratory industry.  In 2011 and 2017 Dan was rated by Keller Williams Commercial Company as the top producing agent specific to Laboratory Transactions for the US.

In addition to his M&A expertise, Dan is an expert in developing HIPAA compliant cloud based data collection environments specific to the capture of Laboratory performance data for M&A compliance requirements.  All of the Advanced Strategic Partners Executives either came from the lab industry or have 10 years of experience in the laboratory industry which differentiates our team from anyone else providing M&A Laboratory services.

He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1967 with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Technology.
